Finalists were announced at Stockholm Writers Festival at the opening event last night.

Narrowing down the First Pages Prize shortlist was a difficult task for our judge Adnan Mahmutovic with such a wealth of talent. We are proud to announce the five finalists of the First Pages Prize 2018. Congratulations to our finalists and we wish them well with their future literary projects.

4th Plagued (The Myth and the Math) by Katie Simon (United States)

5th Islanders by Anna Delany (New Zealand)

Thank you to The de Groot Foundation for generously providing prize money for our five finalists. In addition, the top two winners received travel stipends, accommodation and main pass access to attend the Stockholm Writers Festival, and all five finalists receive partial developmental editing on their works-in-progress.
